Summer Riding CAMP You are invited to spend your days learning about horses/ponies including horse back riding lessons, showmanship instruction, 'pin the parts on the pony', games on horseback, ground driving, horse-y crafts & games, picnic lunches, movies in the new climate controlled media room, trail rides, demonstrations and a weekly field trip! Participants learned everything important in horse ownership including horse health, anatomy, feeding, grooming, shoeing, stable management, tack and equipment. We stressed safe and humane handling of horses. Students also learned about colors, markings, conformation, first aid and will gained knowledge, confidence and consideration for our equine friends.
